Nudge by Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler

Do You have a Retirement Pension plan in Place ? How about health insurance ? Or do you need a Nudge ?

Or how about eating healthy ?

Nudge is a fantastic book by Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler, ¬†two very eminent experts of behavioural psychology, who explain why it’s difficult to do stuff.

Most people put off doing stuff which is meant to be good for them till it becomes a problem.

One of the reasons for this is decision overload because of the numerous decisions we have to make about various aspects in life.

E.g. Instead of poring through detailed financial information to select the best retirement plan, we tend to put it off.

Nudge has nuggets of behavioural psychology which can help make a decision, and ensure we also make better decisions in the process.

It’s a great book, especially for entrepreneurs and business owners who can get various insights into human nature and how they can develop processes and systems for optimal results.
