One emergency landing in a day is scary…but 2 in a row, and that too of the same airline must be positively horrifying…

Well thats what you would expect any ‘normal’ airline spokesperson to feel…or atleast pretend to feel.

However, the PR head of Indian Airlines( or was it Air India) seems to differ.

The shanghai – delhi flight tried landing twice but due to some technical snags( apparently the wheels didnt come down) it circled delhi for 1.5 hours before it finally managed to crash land…Thankfully, no one got hurt, but no sooner did it land that its front wheel collapsed and the plane went nose down, blocking the main runway at delhi airport for 6 hours..

the flight from dubai was more fortunate and managed to land safely.

“Its a normal incident” & ” We have launched an inquiry” was the jist of what the spokesperson had to say about the “normal incident”…

Usually, have grown quite immune to ‘tragedy’ and in the normal course of events would have ignored this ‘crash landing’…

But a very dear friend loves to fly Air India…god only knows why she does ( being a patriotic indian is one of them )…

how ever, i have 2 pieces of advice:
1.) To my friend: Stop flying AI / IA
2.) Ministry of Civil Aviation: Get out of the aviation industry
